About the Job
We are looking for a Project Manager, DevOps to drive cloud, edge infrastructure, and DevOps transformation for a Software Defined Factory environment. You will lead infrastructure roadmap planning, improve CI/CD pipelines, drive automation, and work closely with architects, technical leads, product teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable cloud-native solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage the roadmap and delivery of edge/cloud infrastructure transformation projects.
- Lead DevOps improvement initiatives across CI/CD, automation, deployment, monitoring, and platform reliability.
- Oversee cloud and infrastructure migration projects with minimal business disruption.
- Drive best practices across Kubernetes, OpenShift, containers, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native platforms.
- Work with vendors to manage contracts, cost efficiency, platform utilisation, and delivery performance.
- Partner with software architects, technical leads, product owners, and business teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Track project progress, risks, timelines, and stakeholder updates.
- Coach and support team members where required.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, or related domains.
- Strong experience leading DevOps, cloud, or infrastructure transformation projects.
- Experience in manufacturing, plant, smart factory, industrial IoT, or edge computing environments.
- Good understanding of AWS, hybrid cloud, on-prem infrastructure, VMware, OpenStack, Red Hat, or CaaS platforms.
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, containers, and cloud-native architecture.
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab/GitHub, release management, and DevOps toolchains.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
- Knowledge of database high availability, migration, and modernization, especially PostgreSQL or InfluxDB.
- Experience with PTC Kepware, ThingWorx, or similar industrial IoT platforms would be highly advantageous.
