Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to lead our Managed Services (Application Support) engagement. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth 24x7 operation of live applications, meeting SLAs, and delivering consistent service excellence to the client.

Job Title: Project Manager – Managed Services (Application Support)

Location: Remote work

Experience Level: 3-8 years only

Note: Immediate joiners only required.

Work timings : 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end Managed Services delivery for live applications, ensuring smooth 24x7 operations, timely bug fixes, incident resolution, and high service availability.
  • Own overall accountability for the account — act as a single point of contact for service delivery, team coordination, and client communication.
  • Ensure strict adherence to SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs while driving continuous service improvement.
  • Maintain complete visibility and extreme ownership of all ongoing activities — track incidents, bugs, team tasks, and deliverables across shifts.
  • Manage a global/rotational support team working around the clock; ensure proper handovers, status updates, and escalation management.
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning (for bug fixes & enhancements), backlog grooming, and weekly reviews with internal teams and clients.
  • Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, or recurring issues and drive resolution or permanent fixes in coordination with development and engineering teams.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, prepare executive status reports, and present service performance dashboards.
  • Work closely with developers and technical teams to understand issues, prioritize fixes, and ensure timely delivery without needing to code yourself.
  • Support knowledge transition, documentation, and process improvements to increase stability and reduce ticket volume over time.
  • Identify opportunities for service expansion, automation, or process optimization within the account.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Delivery Manager handling Managed Services / Application Support projects in a 24x7 environment.
  • Strong track record of managing live production applications with focus on stability, SLA compliance, incident & problem management.
  • Ability to manage cross-shift teams and maintain complete control and visibility of operations.
  • Good technical understanding — able to comfortably speak with developers, understand bug reports, and discuss technical issues (no hands-on coding required).
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong bias for extreme ownership, tracking, and follow-ups.
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) for support and enhancement projects.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills — confident in preparing decks, leading reviews, and managing expectations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setup with multiple priorities and ambiguity.
  • High energy, proactive, curious, and detail-oriented personality.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CSM/PSM are preferred.
