Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
You will coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead overall project planning, scheduling, and execution of construction works.
Manage day-to-day site operations and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved on time.
Prepare and review project work programs, method statements, and risk assessments.
Coordinate with consultants, architects, engineers, and authorities for approvals and technical clarifications.
Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site workforce to ensure productivity and quality standards.
Control project costs, budget, and variations, and support quantity surveying matters when required.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, site safety requirements, and quality control procedures.
Conduct regular site meetings, progress updates, and reporting to management and clients.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures promptly.
Handle project documentation, including progress reports, site records, and submission of claims.
Ensure timely completion of inspections, testing, and commissioning works.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction project management.
Strong knowledge of building construction, A&A works, or infrastructure projects (depending on your company).
Familiar with local authority submission and construction regulations.
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tight project timelines.
Proficient in Microsoft Project / Excel / construction scheduling tools is an advantage.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 4 years experience in mechanical works for construction subcontractor (preferably ACMV).
Ability to read and use AutoCAD drawings.
Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Able to create and develop construction programmes / project schedules (work programme, master schedule, look-ahead schedule).
