Project Manager + JLPT

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to delivery
• Act as the main point of contact between Japanese clients and internal teams
• Communicate, translate, and interpret requirements (Japanese English)
• Create project plans, schedules, status reports, and documentation
• Track project progress, risks, and dependencies; ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, operations, etc.)
• Conduct client meetings, reviews, and progress updates in Japanese
• Ensure quality, scope, timeline, and budget adherence
• Resolve issues and escalate risks when necessary Qualifications

uired Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or related field
• Japanese language proficiency: JLPT N2 or N3 (mandatory)
• 8-10 years of experience in project management
• Experience working with Japanese clients or Japan-facing projects
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile / Waterfall)
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in project tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint
