Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager – Interior Designer role based in Hyderabad. The Project Manager – Interior Designer will oversee interior projects from initial brief to final handover, coordinating design development, material selection, vendor interactions, and installation schedules. Responsibilities include translating client requirements into detailed project plans, managing timelines and budgets, supervising site execution, and ensuring quality standards are met at every stage. The role involves regular site visits for inspection and progress tracking, close collaboration with design, procurement, and execution teams, and proactive communication with clients to provide updates and manage expectations. The Project Manager – Interior Designer will also support furniture and custom joinery projects, ensuring accurate measurements, drawings, and timely execution.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including experience with Project Management, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Candidates should possess expediting-related skills, such as working as an Expeditor and handling Expediting activities to ensure timely delivery of materials, approvals, and services.
  • Candidates should possess inspection and quality control skills, including conducting site Inspection, monitoring workmanship, and ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
  • Candidates should possess logistics-related skills, including Logistics Management, vendor coordination, and overseeing deliveries to align with project timelines.
  • Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar), along with the ability to read and interpret drawings.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience managing interior fit-out or residential/commercial design projects, preferably in a premium or design-focused environment.
