Job Title: Project Manager
Job Duties and Responsibilities In this role, you will lead and manage cross-functional project teams from initiation through completion, with a primary focus on ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline by applying robust project management methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum, Waterfall). You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and teams to develop detailed project plans, manage resources effectively, track progress meticulously, and proactively mitigate risks. Your work, centered around leveraging proven project management frameworks and clear communication strategies, is essential to supporting various business initiatives and achieving strategic objectives. Proven experience in full lifecycle project management and relevant methodologies is mandatory for this position.
Primary Skills
- Deep expertise in managing projects through the full lifecycle, from initiation to closure, enabling efficient planning, execution, and delivery of complex initiatives.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum, Waterfall), including their practical application in developing detailed project plans encompassing scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Proficiency in leading, coordinating, and motivating cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, etc.), specifically to ensure alignment with project goals and maintain clear communication channels.
- Advanced skills in stakeholder management, including excellent communication and presentation abilities, and proficiency in defining project scope, gathering requirements, and adeptly managing changes.
- Ability to identify, assess, and implement mitigation strategies for project risks and issues, coupled with experience in tracking project progress, managing dependencies, and providing clear status reports to all stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with a range of project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project) beyond basic usage.
- General hands-on experience in managing diverse types of projects (e.g., software development, infrastructure, business change) across various industries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to complex project challenges, extending beyond routine risk mitigation.
- Broader ability to contribute to strategic planning and portfolio management discussions based on project experiences and outcomes.
- Experience in developing and delivering project management training or mentoring junior project team members.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills for managing stakeholder expectations and team dynamics.
