Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, refine, validate, and manage project plans to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of major technology initiatives across the enterprise.
- Utilize project management methods, standards, and integration practices while coordinating all internal and external resources required to complete assigned projects.
- Provide timely and concise communications to functional leadership regarding project status, risks, and pending issues.
- Analyze processes and recommend optimizations to improve resource utilization and delivery efficiency.
- Develop project plans based on specifications provided by Portfolio Management staff and manage the effective execution of initiatives.
- Build consensus among process leads regarding project scope, task execution, staffing, and issue resolution.
- Source and coordinate with vendors on behalf of the business area represented.
- Provide overall financial direction for projects, including budget development, cost control, and performance monitoring.
- Identify potential risks within projects and proactively manage or escalate issues as needed.
- Participate in identifying project costs, resource allocation, schedule adjustments, and escalation of key issues.
- Collaborate frequently with business area management, portfolio managers, vendors, consultants, and contractors.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executive business owners, product managers, and vendors.
- Conduct formal reviews with business sponsors at project completion to confirm acceptance and satisfaction.
- Track and measure client satisfaction levels and implement improvements based on feedback.
- Manage resource and capacity planning to ensure efficient utilization across projects.
- Perform additional project-related duties as assigned.
Educational Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Project Management Professional (PMP) – Required
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- SAFe Agile Certification
- Lean Six Sigma / Kaizen Certification
- Google Analytics Certification
Work Experience
- 10+ years of IT experience, including prior Project Management experience.
- Minimum 1–2 years managing IT Infrastructure projects (preferred).
- Proven experience managing project financials, budget reporting, and resource capacity management.
- Exposure to Agile Scrum environments (nice to have).

- Technical aptitude to collaborate effectively with software engineers.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in Waterfall methodologies; exposure to Agile Scrum preferred.
- Hands-on experience in project financials, budget management, and capacity planning.
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Python, SQL).
- Experience with Microsoft Technology Stack (C#, SQL Server) and Oracle (8i or 10g).
Tools Knowledge
- Mandatory: Advanced Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, lookups).
- Preferred:
- Application Lifecycle Management tools: Jira, Azure DevOps
- Project & Portfolio Management tools: Clarity, Open Workbench, Microsoft Project
- Web Content Management Systems (WCMS): SAP Hybris
