DESCRIPTION:
Join our collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Project Manager I, where you'll lead initiatives that help make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. In this role, you'll manage cross-functional projects while ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency. You'll coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope, from clinical trials and pharmaceutical services to technical documentation and quality management. This position offers an opportunity to develop your project management skills while contributing to meaningful scientific advances and healthcare solutions.
Role & Responsibilities:
REQUIREMENTS:
. Bachelor's Degree required, no prior experience required in project management or coordination
. Preferred Fields of Study: Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
. Additional certifications in Project Management are valued but not required
. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
. Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
. Detail-oriented with strong documentation and process management capabilities
. Experience with quality systems and GMP compliance preferred
. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
. Proficiency in English required
. Experience with project management software and tools
. Ability to identify and mitigate risks while maintaining project timelines
. Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
. Understanding of relevant industry regulations and standards
. Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or scientific industries preferred
