An interior contracting and design-build organisation is hiring a Project Manager – Interior Fit-Out with 5 to 12 years of relevant experience to manage the planning, execution and delivery of interior fit-out and construction projects in Chandigarh.
The role will involve project planning and scheduling, completion forecasting, manpower planning, material procurement coordination, site coordination, quality control, progress monitoring and stakeholder coordination. The Project Manager will work with clients, architects, PMC teams, vendors, supervisors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered according to agreed schedules, quality requirements and execution standards.
Hospitality or hotel project experience is preferred for this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule project activities in line with project requirements and agreed timelines.
- Forecast project completion dates and monitor progress against planned milestones.
- Manage project execution and coordinate day-to-day site and project activities.
- Monitor project progress and prepare reports for clients and PMC teams.
- Plan and manage manpower requirements across project sites.
- Assess material quantities required for project execution and coordinate material procurement.
- Follow up on material requests to support timely availability at site.
- Conduct project and site meetings with internal teams to coordinate work progress and execution requirements.
- Coordinate with supervisors, vendors and PMC teams on site-related requirements.
- Ensure daily, weekly and monthly work progress reports are prepared and maintained.
- Ensure site activities follow applicable project SOPs and execution procedures.
- Coordinate initial and final site measurements and provide required information to the design team.
- Coordinate with architects, clients and vendors on project requirements and execution-related matters.
- Verify working drawings against site measurements to support accurate execution.
- Monitor site operations and project activities throughout the execution period.
- Conduct quality checks using project checklists and coordinate snag resolution at site.
- Manage multiple projects and coordinate priorities across project teams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address project and site execution requirements.
- Address project delays and site emergencies in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
- Supervise project staff and maintain relevant attendance and timesheet records.
- Monitor compliance with applicable company procedures, government regulations and contractual service requirements.
- Coordinate project completion activities and ensure delivery as per approved project plans and schedules.
- Obtain completion certificates from clients and maintain project records.
- Ensure proper handover documentation and support smooth project closure.
Requirements
- 5 to 12 years of relevant professional experience in interior fit-out, interior construction or project execution.
- Graduate or diploma qualification in Civil Engineering.
- Mandatory experience in hospitality or hotel projects.
- Experience in commercial interior fit-out projects.
- Experience in turnkey or fit-out project environments is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling and execution.
- Experience in manpower planning and site team coordination.
- Understanding of material quantity assessment and procurement coordination.
- Experience coordinating with clients, architects, PMC teams, vendors, supervisors and other project stakeholders.
- Good understanding of site measurements, working drawings, quality checks and snag resolution.
- Experience preparing and monitoring project progress reports such as DPR, WPR and MPR.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of site execution procedures and applicable HSQE requirements.
- Good communication, coordination and managerial skills.
- Good presentation and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Office, AutoCAD and MS Project.
- Postgraduate qualification in Construction Management is preferred.
