We are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager / Junior Delivery Manager with approximately 15 years of experience in an IT services company. This is based in Pune (Pashan / Kothrud) and is Full WFO.
Note: This role requires hands-on project delivery and technical leadership. Candidates with only Scrum Master experience will not be suitable.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Delivery:
- Plan, manage, and deliver projects as per the Statement of Work (SOW), ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and quality.
- Handle multiple projects and customers concurrently, balancing priorities effectively.
- Manage projects with diverse technology stacks, ensuring seamless execution across different skill sets.
Technical Leadership:
- Strong programming backgroundshould be able to step into technical escalations, working with Project Managers and Architects to determine the best solutions.
- Provide input on estimates and technical proposals, ensuring feasibility and alignment with business goals.
Process & Execution Excellence:
- Drive process improvements in project management, including risk management, change control, defect prevention, and quality assurance.
- Establish robust status reporting, metrics generation, and analysis frameworks for informed decision-making.
People Management & Leadership:
- Manage a team of 8-10 direct reports, including Technical Leads, Project Managers, QA Managers, DevOps Leads, and Scrum Masters.
- Mentor, motivate, and develop team members, ensuring succession planning for key roles.
- Handle conflict resolution and performance reviews, fostering a high-performance culture.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical expertise, project delivery skills, and people leadership to drive successful project outcomes.
