About the Assignment

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Network Transition to join the global supply chain transformation function of a leading multinational medical technology and healthcare organisation.

The organisation operates one of the world's largest and most complex healthcare supply chain networks, supporting the movement of products across multiple regions, distribution centres and logistics partners. The wider transformation function is responsible for designing and implementing the future-state supply chain network, including distribution network optimisation, strategic logistics partnerships, network consolidation, systems integration and the transition towards an increasingly asset-light operating model.

This role sits within the Network Orchestration and Transition Management function and will support the planning, coordination and execution of global network transition activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing transition plans, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, tracking milestones, identifying risks and ensuring the successful execution of distribution network changes across multiple regions. You will work closely with teams across Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Procurement, IT, Digital, Partner Management and regional business functions to ensure transition activities are delivered in line with business objectives, operational readiness requirements and transformation timelines.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project manager with a background in supply chain transformation, logistics, network design, site transfers, operational transitions or large-scale business change programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination and execution of global supply chain and logistics network transition activities.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, transition trackers and governance documentation.
• Manage project milestones, dependencies, risks, assumptions and issues across multiple workstreams.
• Coordinate operational readiness activities across regions, sites, logistics partners and functional teams.
• Support the execution of site transitions, distribution centre changes, partner onboarding and network redesign initiatives.
• Coordinate cutover planning, stabilisation activities and post-implementation support.
• Ensure transition activities remain aligned with agreed timelines, standards and future-state network objectives.
• Facilitate collaboration between Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, IT, Digital, Quality, Partner Management and regional teams.
• Prepare updates and reporting for programme governance forums, including project status, risks, mitigation plans and key decisions.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve transition methodologies, governance processes and execution standards.
• Capture lessons learned and best practices to support future network deployments.
• Manage interdependencies between transition activities and wider transformation initiatives.
• Support change management and stakeholder engagement activities to ensure successful adoption of new operating models.

Must-Have Requirements

The successful candidate should have:

• 5–8+ years of experience in project management, supply chain, logistics, operations or transformation programmes.
• Demonstrated experience leading or supporting network transitions, site transfers, distribution changes, operational migrations or large-scale transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of supply chain, warehousing, logistics and transportation operations.
• Experience managing project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies and governance processes.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders within a global, matrix organisation.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience working across cross-functional teams including Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, Digital and external partners.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience using project management tools, trackers and reporting methodologies.
• Professional-level written and spoken English.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.

Nice-to-Have Experience

The following experience would be advantageous:

• Experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience supporting 3PL transitions, logistics partner onboarding or outsourcing programmes.
• Experience with supply chain network design or distribution network optimisation.
• Experience managing warehouse transitions, distribution centre implementations or transportation network changes.
• Exposure to ERP, WMS, TMS or supply chain systems implementations.
• Experience in global transformation or business integration programmes.
• Knowledge of change management methodologies.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Lean, Six Sigma or other project management certifications.
• Experience supporting international projects across EMEA, APAC, LATAM and North America.
• MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations or Engineering.
