What you'll find in this role
A sixty-person ed-tech company selling to schools and colleges is hiring its first dedicated project manager. Product, content, sales and customer success all run their own projects today, and school onboarding season is when the gaps show. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps companies hire experienced professionals, and it is running this search.
What you would own
- School and college onboarding projects, from signed contract to first live class
- The cross-team release calendar, so that product changes do not land in the middle of an exam week
- Content production schedules, working with curriculum writers and designers
- A single weekly view of every open project, its owner, its next date and its risk
Day to day
You will run short stand-ups with each team, keep project plans in a tool people actually open, and step in when a deadline is at risk. You will also run a retrospective after each admissions cycle and turn what you learn into a checklist the next cycle uses.
Who will do well
- 3 to 7 years managing projects with several teams, ideally in a software or services company
- Comfort with Jira, Asana, Notion or similar, and willingness to choose one and stick to it
- Clear and brief written updates, and a habit of asking one useful question before offering an opinion
- Patience with school administrators and the calendar they work to

Location: Remote (India)
