Position Overview:

The Project Manager Engineering & Product Development will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the development of Keus products across multiple teams. This role acts as the central point of alignment between product owners, engineering teams, and leadershipensuring visibility into development progress, proactive resolution of roadblocks, and consistent adoption of agile best practices across the engineering department. The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-driven, and deeply experienced in agile delivery, sprint management, and cross-functional coordination within complex product environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Program & Project Management:

Act as the central coordinator for all ongoing product development initiatives across the engineering department.

Track and communicate the progress of each product, ensuring clear visibility into milestones, timelines, and dependencies.

Identify risks, delays, and roadblocks early, and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve them

proactively.

Maintain consolidated development dashboards and status reports for leadership review.

Agile Process Governance:

Ensure all product owners are running sprints, scrums, and agile ceremonies effectively and

consistently.

Monitor sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint execution, and delivery outcomes across teams.

Coach and support product owners in adopting and improving agile best practices.

Ensure sprint goals align with overall product roadmaps and business priorities.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

Act as the communication bridge between product owners, engineering teams, QA, and other internal stakeholders.

Ensure engineering teams are aligned on priorities, timelines, and scope changes.

Facilitate cross-team dependency management to avoid delivery bottlenecks.

Provide regular updates to leadership on development health and execution risks.

Reporting & Communication:

Prepare and present clear, structured updates on product development progress, risks, and blockers.

Ensure transparency across the engineering department regarding delivery status and challenges.

Translate complex development issues into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Retrospectives & Continuous Improvement:

Facilitate structured sprint and release retrospectives with product owners and engineering teams.

Help teams identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and systemic issues impacting delivery.

Drive action plans based on retrospective outcomes and track follow-through.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering organization.

Process Optimization:

Identify opportunities to standardize and improve development workflows across teams.

Implement best practices for agile delivery, documentation, and reporting.

Ensure consistency in tooling, sprint metrics, and delivery tracking across products.

Stay updated on modern agile, delivery, and program management practices.

Key Measures of Success:

On-time and predictable delivery of product development milestones

Reduction in unresolved blockers and recurring delivery issues

Quality and consistency of sprint execution across teams

Effectiveness of retrospectives and implemented improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field (master's preferred).

36 years of experience in product delivery, program management, or agile project management.

Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies and sprint execution.

Experience working with multiple product owners and engineering teams simultaneously.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in hardware-software integrated products or IoT/home automation environments is a plus.

Strong analytical skills to track progress, identify risks, and drive improvements.
