Elevate is hiring an experienced and driven
Project Manager Engineering Searching to lead high-impact IP research projects and manage a team of patent professionals. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a client-centric mindset to deliver insightful patent analysis and support strategic IP decisions for global clients.
Specifically, the Project Manager Engineering Searching will
- Conduct complex patent research projects including:
- Invalidation, Freedom-to-Operate (FTO), and Patentability searches.
- Technology landscapes, white space analyses, and competitor monitoring.
- Analyse and summarize findings to deliver high-quality, insight-driven reports that support strategic IP decisions.
- Collaborate with global clients to define project scope, clarify objectives, and ensure alignment with expectations.
- Perform legal, technical, and commercial evaluation of patent portfolios to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Contribute to business development through client relationship management and identification of new service opportunities.
- Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives to promote best practices, tools, and process improvements within the team.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor strategies to maintain high service standards and innovation.
Experience
- 4 to 6 years of experience in IP research and consulting.
- Strong exposure to patent search, analysis, and landscape projects.
Skills For Success

- Self-driven with a sense of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in patent search tools and databases.
- Strong understanding of IP laws and global patent systems.
- Skilled in legal and technical analysis of patents.
- Comfortable with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Outlook, and basic database tools.
Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Mechanical
