JOB DESCRIPTION

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Engage early in major project pursuits with Sales and Application teams to provide inputs on execution strategy, lessons learned, commercial risk assessment, mitigation plans, lead times, and documentation deliverables.
  • Lead the execution of Tier 2 and Tier 3 EPC projects for isolation valves from order intake through final delivery, handover, and closeout, in alignment with the global PMO framework.
  • Own and manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk in accordance with contractual and customer requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans using Primavera, including milestones, progress tracking, and recovery actions where required.
  • Act as the single point of contact for EPC contractors and end customers, leading progress reviews, coordination meetings, and ongoing communications.
  • Proactively manage customer clarifications, change requests, variations, and claims in collaboration with Sales, Legal, and Commercial teams.
  • Plan and control project budgets, margins, cash flow, milestone invoicing, and exposure to liquidated damages or penalties.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure timely submission, approval, and revision of documents and drawings.
  • Interface with manufacturing plants, suppliers, and logistics teams to align production schedules and expedite critical materials and boughtout items.
  • Support and coordinate customer inspections, FAT, SAT, and thirdparty inspections as required.
  • Drive adherence to applicable codes, standards, quality plans, inspection and test plans, and timely resolution of nonconformances.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by integrating health, safety, and environmental considerations into all phases of project execution.
  • Provide regular project status updates and monthly or quarterly forecasts to leadership, including schedule, cost, risks, and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, registers, KPIs, and lessons learned, and support internal or external audits.
  • Lead project closeout reviews, document corrective actions, and hand over installbase data to Sales to support aftersales and lifecycle opportunities.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • An engineering degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong experience leading EPC or large industrial projects within the isolation valve and automation industry.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing project scope, schedules, cost control, quality, and risk.
  • Handson experience with project planning and execution tools, including Primavera or equivalent systems.
  • The ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering documentation, and contractual requirements.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across customers, EPCs, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • A strong commitment to health, safety, and compliance, with active participation in safety programs and reporting systems.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Formal project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, or APM.
  • Experience managing multisite or multicountry projects, including exposure to Middle East EPC environments.
  • Prior experience working with leading valve, automation, or EPC organizations.
  • Commercial acumen in handling variations, claims, and contract risk mitigation.
