Job Description

Position: Project Manager

Brief

We are looking for a full-time project manager for the CED team. The ideal candidate will have

experience in handling content development projects, Vendor management, Vendor onboarding,

negotiation skills as well as strong work plan development and progress oversight skills. He/She will

be expected to prepare and maintain progress updates of the project with respect to the vendors

working on it and presenting it to appropriate management channels regularly, ensuring the

innovation we seek is being achieved.

Objectives of this Role:

• Build and develop the vendor team to ensure maximum performance, providing

purpose, direction, and motivation

• Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules,

scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation

• To coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope,

schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various

functional departments

• Analyse project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to

ensure that vendor adheres to project requirements

• Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-

to-day updates on project status and weekly updates.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and onboard vendors from time to time with the best capability and requirements

• Establish processes to manage, review, and track the vendors performance on a weekly/monthly

basis

• Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project

quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across,

multiple projects

• Structure and manage deployment, multi-track project performance databases for e-learning

projects, with an eye on overall progress.

• Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors

and researchers

• Monitor and assign vendors appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximise

deliverable outputs

• Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—

escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans

• Ensure process adherence – self, QA and Vendor

• Performance evaluation of the project

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Requirements for the role

• Proven success working with all levels of management

• Good negotiation and handling skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong presentation and leadership skills

• Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines

• Experience coaching and educating project teams to strengthen team members capabilities

and skill sets.

• Innovative thinking and eye to closure of the project within stipulated timeline

• Capability to make decisions under pressure
