Role Overview
As a Project Manager at Dreamcast you will lead the end-to-end execution of internal projects in the fast-paced event-tech domain. You will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, tech-driven environment and is passionate about driving results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle, from planning and initiation through execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Lead Agile teams using Scrum methodologies and best practices.
- Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed and prioritized product backlog.
- Ensure that teams adhere to Scrum principles and values, and drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor project progress and performance using Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Act as a servant leader and coach for multiple Scrum teams.
- Identify project risks early and develop mitigation plans.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership in a clear and timely manner.
- Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams including developers, QA, UI/UX, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Contribute to the organization's Agile maturity by promoting Agile values, educating stakeholders, and improving delivery processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4 to 8 years of experience in project management in the IT/software industry.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with Scrum and Agile frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Excellent understanding of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle).
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with cross-functional teams.
- Solid knowledge of project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, etc.).
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to anticipate challenges and resolve them proactively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM/PSM).
- Experience in client-facing roles or managing offshore/remote teams.
- Familiarity with DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with distributed teams or in a product-based environment.
