Product Manager - Digital Products
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of digital products, from requirements and discovery through development and release. The role will own the product roadmap and backlog, working closely with design, engineering, research, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that address user needs and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product roadmap and backlog across key user journeys.
- Translate user research, stakeholder needs, and policy requirements into clear product requirements and user stories.
- Prioritise features based on user needs, business impact, and delivery constraints.
- Lead product discovery and validation activities and translate findings into actionable product improvements.
- Define success metrics and KPIs, monitor product performance, and use data to guide product decisions.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, researchers, and engineering teams to deliver features from concept through production release.
- Ensure products accommodate different user groups, requirements, and usage contexts.
- Manage stakeholders and communicate product strategy, priorities, decisions, and rationale clearly.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, with a proven track record of delivering digital products.
- Previous experience within government or the public sector
- Strong experience in product roadmapping, backlog management, requirements gathering, user stories, and feature prioritisation.
- Hands-on experience with product discovery, user research, and validation.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data and product metrics to support decision-making.
- Experience working in Agile environments alongside design and engineering teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

- Experience delivering workflow or management platforms, such as dashboards, records, or scheduling systems
