Roles & Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution:
- Lead end-to-end line-stringing and drone-based rope pulling activities for greenfield and brownfield transmission projects.
- Develop and implement detailed project plans, construction schedules, timelines, and work breakdown structures.
- Conduct site inspections to assess feasibility, resource needs, and risks; ensure solutioning for site challenges.
- Oversee day-to-day site execution and ensure work is completed as per SOPs, technical guidelines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, design, and project teams for planning, approvals, and execution readiness.
Stakeholder, Client & Subcontractor Management:
- Ensure seamless communication with clients, EPC partners, contractors, and internal teams to meet project milestones.
- Manage ground-level liaison with local stakeholders to prevent disruptions and ensure smooth progress.
- Supervise subcontractors, gangs, fitters, technicians, drone pilots, and other site staff to ensure timely target completion.
Resource & Vendor Coordination:
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and logistics to ensure availability as per project timelines.
- Work with procurement/logistics to secure required project resources and optimize utilization.
Quality, Safety & Compliance (QHSE):
- Enforce strict QHSE standards during charged and uncharged conditions across all project sites.
- Ensure compliance with client, regulatory, safety, and utility-specific norms.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure availability of PPE, first-aid kits, and safety documentation.
- Maintain accurate site compliance records throughout project execution.
Monitoring, Reporting & Governance:
- Track weekly and monthly project targets; ensure timely achievement of KPIs and contractual milestones.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including schedules, reports, minutes, and status updates.
- Generate regular MIS and progress reports highlighting achievements, challenges, risks, and corrective actions.
- Monitor project progress vs. plan using appropriate project management tools.
Risk & Issue Management:
- Identify potential project risks including construction challenges, compliance issues, land/ROW issues, and weather impacts.
- Develop and implement mitigation and contingency plans to prevent disruptions.
- Escalate critical issues through the defined governance framework when needed.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving project efficiency, safety, and operational excellence.
- Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and contribute to best-practice frameworks.
