We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of cybersecurity assessment engagements across a diverse client portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for driving timely project delivery, maintaining clear and proactive client communication, and ensuring the highest standards of quality across all deliverables. You will work closely with the Program Manager, internal assessment teams, and client stakeholders to manage engagements spanning VAPT (Web, Network, Cloud – AWS & Azure, API, Mobile – iOS & Android), Red Teaming, DevSecOps, Product Security, and Threat Modelling.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Project Execution & Delivery
· Drive the end-to-end execution of assigned cybersecurity assessment projects, ensuring adherence to defined timelines, scope, and quality benchmarks.
· Lead project kick-off calls with client SPOCs — present the engagement overview, clarify deliverables, and address preliminary queries.
· Coordinate with clients to obtain scope documents, access credentials, and all prerequisites required to commence assessments.
· Validate scope and prerequisites with the internal team, issue formal confirmation to the client, and circulate a detailed Project Planner outlining key milestones and timelines.
· Provide structured and periodic status updates to clients using the WATI-standard Status Presentation, ensuring transparency throughout the engagement lifecycle.
· Formally communicate project completion to the client and facilitate walkthrough sessions between the delivery team and client stakeholders.
· Ensure the timely and accurate dispatch of assessment reports, Excel deliverables, and Proof-of- Concepts (PoCs) to clients via email, in accordance with established protocols.
2. Client Communication & Relationship Management
· Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients throughout the engagement lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.
· Function as the central liaison between the internal delivery team and client SPOCs — facilitate the resolution of queries, manage dependencies, and address roadblocks proactively.
· Maintain a solution-oriented communication approach, escalating critical concerns to the Program Manager in a timely manner.
3. Internal Coordination & Tracking
· Actively participate in daily scrum calls to track work assignments, monitor team progress, and ensure alignment with project timelines.
· Conduct ongoing work monitoring throughout the day, identifying and escalating blockers or deviations promptly.
· Prepare and submit daily work status documentation and EOD summaries to the Program Manager and Delivery Head.
· Maintain and regularly update the internal project tracker to reflect real-time project status across all active engagements.
4. Quality Coordination & Review Management
· Initiate and oversee the report preparation workflow for both pre-assessment and post- assessment deliverables.
· Coordinate the multi-stage report review cycle — encompassing Technical Review, Language & Iteration Review, and Design & Alignment Review — to ensure thorough and timely completion.
· Participate in internal walkthrough sessions with the delivery team, Team Leads, and the Technical Review Team to validate the accuracy and completeness of all deliverables prior to client submission.
5. Documentation & Process Compliance
· Maintain comprehensive and well-organised records within the Internal Delivery Repository and Client-Shared Delivery Repository.
· Ensure all project documentation adheres to defined structuring standards, enabling clear navigation and easy retrieval.
· Initiate the invoice-raising process upon project closure and follow up with client finance teams to ensure timely payment completion.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Essential
· 4–5 years of demonstrated experience in project management within a cybersecurity, information security, or IT professional services environment.
· Solid understanding of cybersecurity assessment methodologies including VAPT, Red Teaming, Cloud Security, API Security, and Mobile Application Security.
· Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent client engagements while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Strong organisational and time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
· Proficiency in project tracking tools, documentation management, and structured email-based reporting.
Preferred
· Working knowledge of DevSecOps pipelines, Threat Modelling frameworks, or Product Security workflows.
· Experience managing engagements with international clients across multiple time zones (US, UK, India).
· Relevant professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent.
· Prior experience in a cybersecurity consulting or managed security services firm.
· Familiarity with report quality assurance processes and multi-stage review workflows.
