Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Bengaluru. The Project Manager will oversee interior design projects from initiation to handover, coordinating timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure high-quality delivery. Responsibilities include planning project schedules, tracking milestones, and managing day-to-day site activities with designers, vendors, contractors, and suppliers. The role involves expediting materials and approvals, monitoring quality during execution, and ensuring that work aligns with design specifications and safety standards. The Project Manager will also handle stakeholder communication, provide regular progress updates, and proactively identify and resolve project risks or delays.
Qualifications
- Solid project leadership abilities, including Project Management skills with experience managing multiple design or construction projects simultaneously.
- Strong coordination capabilities, including Expeditor and Expediting skills to ensure timely procurement, delivery, and follow-up with vendors and contractors.
- Experience in Inspection and on-site quality control, ensuring work meets design, safety, and finishing standards.
- Proficiency in Logistics Management, including scheduling, material tracking, and site resource planning.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, engineering, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in interior design, fit-out, or construction project environments in an on-site role is highly preferred.
