Project Manager (construction)

Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of building projects within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This role involves managing a project team, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with EHS and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

. Prepare the project start-up and execution plan, defining key project targets in terms of time, cost, quality, resources, EHS, and contractual obligations
. Liaise effectively with clients and consultants on all project matters, including authority submissions, planning, construction, and EHS compliance
. Lead a team of professional and technical staff in the day-to-day planning and execution of works to achieve project objectives
. Review the master programme, define milestones, and set pull-planning targets to manage site progress effectively
. Liaise with and manage subcontractors to meet performance targets in terms of time, cost, quality, and safety
. Implement and monitor project budgets, as well as manage all contractual matters
. Drive the adoption of innovative construction methodologies and practices to improve productivity and achieve lean outcomes
. Foster collaboration among team members and encourage commitment to achieving performance targets
. Assist the Business Unit Head or Project Director with tendering and proposal activities to secure new projects

Requirements

. Degree in Building,Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
. Minimum 10 years of experience in project management and/or site coordination for building projects
. Candidates with more experience will be considered for Senior position
. Strong knowledge in construction management, planning,and contractual matters lean mindset in managing cost and resources
. Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to achieve project goals highly committed to delivering milestones and targets
. Proactive in problem-solving and focused on strategic project objectives
. Data-driven mindset for improving efficiency and productivity through measurement and analysis
. Prior experience in aerospace, commercial,institutional, or government projects will be an advantage
