Core Responsibilities for Cell to Module to Pack Assembly Line

• Project Initiation & Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scopes, timelines, budgets, and milestones for battery cell sorting, module assembly, and final pack integration.
• Design & Engineering Oversight: Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers to ensure structural integrity, weight optimization, and thermal performance. This includes evaluating classic Cell-to-Module-to-Pack (CTM) builds against modern Cell-to-Pack (CTP) and Cell-to-Chassis (CTC) integrations.
• Manufacturing Scaling: This entails establishing quality control metrics for processes like welding, cell bonding, and encapsulation.
• BMS Integration & Safety: Coordinate the integration of the Battery Management System (BMS) with cell monitoring units (CMU) to ensure accurate voltage, temperature control, and cell balancing.
• Testing & Certification Management: Lead execution of rigorous functional, shock, vibration, thermal runaway, and leakage tests to guarantee compliance with safety and industry certifications.
• Supply Chain & Vendor Coordination: Align procurement of key with project schedules to prevent supply constraints.
• Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare status reports for senior management, manage cross-team communication, and eliminate project blockers.
• Project Lifecycles: Managing the entire project phases from Concept/FEED to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and final handover.
• Key Skills & Qualifications
• Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of lithium-ion technology (cylindrical, pouch, or prismatic cells), high-voltage electrical architectures, and battery cooling methods.
• Experience Level: Typically requires a bachelor's degree in electrical, Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant project management experience in energy storage or automotive industries.
• Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly desirable.
• Technical Software: Familiarity with CAD (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks), PLM systems, and scheduling tools (MS Project).
