Role Summary

The Project Manager has responsibility for leading and delivering information security projects, primarily focused on penetration testing services. This role involves end-to-end project management, from pre-sales support and scoping through execution, reporting, and closure. The Project Manager will ensure high-quality deliverables, effective stakeholder communication, and strong client relationships, while monitoring project performance, mitigating risks, and driving operational excellence.

Objectives & Key Results

The Project Manager is part of the Project Management Office (PMO) team and represents a key link between clients, consultants, and leadership to ensure the successful delivery of information security projects with high client satisfaction.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities

  • Accountable for project planning, execution, client experience, and ensuring delivery aligns with NotSoSecure's quality standards
  • The candidate should have a good understanding of the Information security service (penetration testing) deliverables and penetration testing project lifecycle
  • Provide pre-sales support by assisting in scoping, preparing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and preparing SoWs for potential projects
  • Provide end-to-end project management support, covering resource allocation, repository setup, information gathering, client communication, consultant coordination, execution, and closure.
  • Lead and facilitate project meetings, driving agendas and outcomes (demo, kick-off, debrief calls, etc)
  • Monitor and track project metrics, including hours, expenses, and resource utilisation
  • Identify potential risks at an early stage and develop mitigation plans
  • Resolve conflicts, blockers, and escalations efficiently
  • Maintain and update project management tools with progress at each stage
  • Ensure timely delivery of project outputs such as reports, attestation letters, and other deliverables
  • Conduct quality checks and editorial reviews of client-facing deliverables
  • Share the required project closure data with the operations team to invoice for the deliverables
  • Collect client feedback on project performance to identify improvement areas
  • Support client relationship management initiatives
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality engagements
  • Effectively work with cross-cultural teams and stakeholders
  • Participate in monthly BU review meetings
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practice initiatives
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc business reports for management

Position Specifications

  • 3+ years of experience in project coordination/ project management in a consulting environment
  • Understanding of project management concepts
  • Experience supporting security projects
  • Information security knowledge
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills
  • Demonstrated skills in time management, project scheduling, multitasking, managing expectations, and client communications
  • Experience with Project Management tools (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Project Management Certifications, such as CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2, are desired but not mandatory
  • Sound team worker, relationship builder
  • Use of MS Office applications and email
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, both written and verbal
