Job Description

The Civil Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising civil construction projects from inception to completion. The role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring strict adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee all phases of civil construction projects.
  • Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, and vendors.
  • Track project progress to ensure adherence to timelines, quality, and cost targets.
  • Review and approve project designs, drawings, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
  • Manage material procurement and subcontractor agreements effectively.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with engineering and safety standards.
  • Prepare detailed progress reports and present updates to management and clients.
  • Resolve technical, operational, and coordination issues promptly to prevent delays.
  • Ensure all works comply with local building codes, environmental, and safety regulations.
  • Supervise, guide, and mentor site engineers, supervisors, and project staff.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • 715 years of experience in civil construction or infrastructure project management.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, structural drawings, and civil design principles.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
