Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager-Civil to oversee and manage civil engineering projects in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of civil engineering principles.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project delivery.
- Manage procurement processes and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 7-15 years of experience in project management within the civil engineering sector.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with budgeting and cost control processes.
