Job Description: Project Manager - Civil Engineer

Project Location: Khopoli, Maharashtra

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Civil Engineer to oversee civil construction activities at our industrial project in Khopoli, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in site supervision, billing, project planning, and execution, ensuring that all construction activities are completed as per approved drawings, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Billing & Quantity Estimation

• Prepare and verify contractor bills, running account (RA) bills, and final bills.
• Check measurements, quantity calculations, and bills against BOQs, drawings, and actual site execution.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, reconciliation statements, and variation statements.
• Monitor project quantities, material consumption, and cost-related documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors for bill certification and payment follow-ups.

2. Project Planning & Monitoring

• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly construction schedules.
• Track project progress against planned timelines and identify potential delays.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, machinery, and subcontractor requirements.
• Prepare daily progress reports (DPRs) and periodic progress updates.
• Ensure timely execution of work and support recovery planning wherever required.

3. Site Supervision & Execution

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure execution of RCC works, foundations, flooring, masonry, plastering, and other civil works as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor subcontractors, labour, and material utilization to ensure smooth site operations.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other project teams to resolve site-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.

4. Documentation & Coordination

• Maintain site records, measurement books (MB), inspection reports, and progress documentation.
• Review construction drawings and coordinate with design and planning teams.
• Ensure proper implementation of approved method statements and quality procedures.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on project progress, constraints, and resource requirements.

5.Team Leadership

• Leading a team of 3 site engineers and supervisors.
• Maintaining decorum within the team
• Assigning tasks according to each team member to gain maximum output.
• Aligning the team on goals, plans, and schedules.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 7–8 years of relevant experience in civil construction, preferably in industrial projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in billing, site supervision, and project planning.
• Good knowledge of RCC works, foundations, industrial flooring, and general civil construction activities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Project or similar planning tools.
• Knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, RA bills, and cost control.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and team-management skills.
• Ability to independently manage site activities and meet project deadlines.
• Experience working on industrial construction projects, factories, warehouses, or manufacturing facilities.
• Ability to join immediately.
• Willingness to work at the project site in Khopoli, Maharashtra.
