We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager (Electrical/Civil) to lead, manage, and deliver end-to-end power distribution projects for our Infrastructure company.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, proven leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive multidisciplinary teams toward successful project execution. This role demands strategic planning, proactive problem-solving, and full accountability for project outcomes in terms of quality, safety, timelines, and cost.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Leadership & Execution
- Lead the development of comprehensive project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), schedules, and resource allocation plans.
- Drive overall project execution while ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines.
- Proactive and timely planning of material and labor, and proactive problem identification and solution.
- Monitor and review project progress regularly; anticipate challenges and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure compliance with project budgets, track financial performance, and approve cost-related decisions.
- Coordinate and supervise cross-functional project teams including engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
- Oversee contractor and vendor performance, ensuring delivery of quality work as per contractual terms.
2. Technical Oversight
- Provide authoritative technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review, validate, and approve technical designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure all engineering activities adhere to industry standards, statutory requirements, and best practices.
- Evaluate emerging electrical technologies and integrate innovative solutions where relevant.
3. Stakeholder & Client Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
- Provide clear and timely updates on project progress, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders and senior management.
- Address client concerns proactively and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Establish and implement robust quality control processes to meet project specifications and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular site audits, technical reviews, and quality inspections.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and statutory compliance requirements.
5. Risk & Issue Management
- Identify, assess, and evaluate project risks early in the lifecycle.
- Develop and implement mitigation measures and contingency plans.
- Resolve technical, operational, and contractual issues to avoid delays and ensure smooth execution.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Civil Engineering or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- 815 years of experience in project management within the power distribution / transmission / EPC sector.
- Strong understanding of distribution systems, substations, HT/LT networks, transmission lines, and electrical construction practices.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Strong analytical, organization, and time-management skills with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Proficiency in project management tools is an advantage.
