Project Manager - Civil Construction

Role Description The Project Manager – Civil Construction will oversee end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects in Kollam. This full-time, on-site role involves coordinating with engineers, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include developing project plans, monitoring progress, managing site activities, reviewing designs and drawings, supervising construction teams, and resolving technical and operational issues. The role also includes preparing reports, tracking costs, managing risks, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and implementing best practices in construction management. The Project Manager will be expected to maintain clear communication, uphold safety protocols, and support continuous improvement across all project phases.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering and Infrastructure skills, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical standards.
• Construction Management and Project Management skills to plan, execute, monitor, and close projects effectively.
• Budgeting and cost control skills to manage project finances, estimates, and resource allocation.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field, with experience in civil construction projects.
• Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards applicable to infrastructure works.
• Strong leadership, team coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in project management and construction-related software tools is an advantage.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work on-site in Kollam.
