Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Manager specializing in Civil & Electrical tasks with Solar EPC exposure, based in Bhuj. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of civil and electrical infrastructure projects related to solar power. Duties include managing project budgets, coordinating construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and ensuring timely project delivery. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and effectively managing resources to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Project Management, including project execution, planning, resource allocation, and meeting deadlines.
• Experience in Civil Engineering and knowledge of infrastructure development related to solar projects.
• Proficiency in Construction Management practices, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Skilled in Budgeting and cost estimation to optimize project financial performance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities to coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience in solar projects or renewable energy industries is an advantage.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic project requirements and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

JOB PURPOSE

To be responsible for Quality of multiple solar domestic projects mainly field quality.

To have interaction with client for all quality matters and fulfil all the contractual requirements.

LINKAGES & REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

Reporting To : Regional Head Quality

PRINICIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.Ensuring client RFQ (quality part) is reviewed & responded to BD and have discussion with client if required

2.Ensuring fulfilment of all the client contractual quality requirements at all the stages.

3.Ensuring subcontractor Assessment and post work evaluation is done.

4.Ensuring all the quality documentation is done towards client and subcontractors

5.Ensuring inspections as per FQP and clearances for next stage

6.Ensuring resources for all the quality work in field

7.Ensuring root cause analysis for quality issues

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

B.Tech/ BE - Electrical/ Civil

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Overall min 12 years including

1.Solar experience of at least 5 years.

2.At least 3 years experience in managing a team

3.Knowledge of civil & electrical work in solar field

SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED

1.Good knowledge in solar projects & key equipment's like transformers, HT panels, Inverters, cables, modules etc.

2.Good knowledge of solar field quality

3.Auditing skills - Certified ISO 9001 auditor

4.Knowledge for conducting systematic root cause analysis

5.Planning, interaction and coordination with client, internal stakeholders, vendors & TPAs
