Location: Mumbai
Experience: 15+ Years (Minimum 56 Years in Project Management Mandatory)
Domain: BFSI (Banking), Indian Insurance (Life/General), OR Capital Markets

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of technology and business transformation projects within the BFSI/Insurance/Capital Markets domain. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills, excellent project governance capabilities, and hands-on experience in managing cross-functional delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle from planning to execution and closure.
Create and monitor project plans, scope, milestones, risks, and budgets.
Drive requirement gathering, functional discussions, and project documentation.
Coordinate with internal teams, business stakeholders, clients, and vendors.
Implement project governance mechanisms, reporting dashboards, and progress reviews.
Ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and adherence to regulatory/compliance norms (applicable to BFSI/Insurance/Capital Markets).
Manage UAT, defect triage, change requests, and production deployment planning.
Lead cross-functional teams including developers, testers, BAs, and third-party vendors.
Drive process improvements, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Mandatory Skills

5 to 6+ years as a Project Manager handling medium to large projects.
Strong knowledge in BFSI / Insurance / Capital Markets domain.
Expertise in SRS/BRD documentation, SDLC, Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Hands-on experience in risk tracking, budgeting, resource planning, and governance.
