Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of technology and business transformation projects within the BFSI/Insurance/Capital Markets domain. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills, excellent project governance capabilities, and hands-on experience in managing cross-functional delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle from planning to execution and closure.
  • Create and monitor project plans, scope, milestones, risks, and budgets.
  • Drive requirement gathering, functional discussions, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, business stakeholders, clients, and vendors.
  • Implement project governance mechanisms, reporting dashboards, and progress reviews.
  • Ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and adherence to regulatory/compliance norms (applicable to BFSI/Insurance/Capital Markets).
  • Manage UAT, defect triage, change requests, and production deployment planning.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including developers, testers, BAs, and third-party vendors.
  • Drive process improvements, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Mandatory Skills

  • 5 to 6+ years as a Project Manager handling medium to large projects.
  • Strong knowledge in BFSI / Insurance / Capital Markets domain.
  • Expertise in SRS/BRD documentation, SDLC, Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Hands-on experience in risk tracking, budgeting, resource planning, and governance.

Good-to-Have

  • PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification
  • Experience working directly with Indian banking or insurance clients
  • Exposure to regulatory projects (IRDAI, RBI, SEBI compliance)
