This Position reports to:

Local Division Manager


Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will lead projects by guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated Electrical Power, Drive, and Automation Systems. You will be accountable for end-to-end execution across Systems and Service units, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, within budget, and compliant with all standards and regulations. Through effective planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, you will drive successful outcomes while maximizing customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

This role is contributing to the Automation in Marine & Ports division in the India region (Mumbai/Bangalore). Main stakeholders include senior management, project team members, customers, suppliers, regulatory authorities, and service partners.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Planning, scheduling, and controlling project activities to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery.

  • Driving customer satisfaction by meeting contractual commitments and delivering expected value.

  • Managing project financials, including margins, cash flow, and overall profitability.

  • Overseeing scope, change, risk, and opportunity management to secure successful outcomes.

  • Leading teams and stakeholders effectively while ensuring clear communication and progress visibility.

  • Ensuring quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across all phases, including commissioning, site management, and warranty support.


Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering- electrical and Electronics or relevant , PMP certification (preferred).

  • 8-12 years of experience managing electrical power, drives, and automation projects.

  • Proven track record in delivering integrated projects across Electrical Power Systems, Drive Systems, and Automation Systems, preferably within EPC, Automation, Marine, or power plant sectors.

  • Strong communication, organizational, negotiation, and leadership skills, with a business-oriented, adaptable, and results-driven mindset.

  • Solid knowledge of contractual terms and conditions, with the ability to ensure compliance and effective communication to achieve project results.

  • Proficiency in Office 365, MS Project, SAP PS module, and project scheduling/reporting tools such as IPM, PR+, and MS Project.

  • Excellent technical English writing and verbal skills

  • Willingness to travel Pan India.
