This Position reports to:
Global PMO LeadIn this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing projects within the ABB Finance and Accounting Organization (FAO). You will work closely with FAO senior and mid-level management, FAO Service and Performance Practice teams (Q&CI, Automation, and Performance Management), as well as cross-functional partners such as GPO organizations, IS, FPDS, HR, country finance organizations, and other stakeholders.
This role contributes to the Finance function and is based in Bangalore-Hebbal.
You will be accountable for:
Managing assigned projects within the FAO pipeline, ensuring completion of all tasks and milestones within agreed timelines and budgets.
Defining and applying appropriate project methodologies effectively allocating resources and tasks motivating and managing direct and indirect stakeholders monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to the Global PMO Lead and senior leadership.
Developing, implementing, and continuously improving project documentation, including RAID logs, project toolkits, reporting decks, and lessons learned managing project risks and proposing appropriate mitigation actions.
Ensuring effective project governance by identifying key stakeholders and defining meeting cadences designing and implementing project change management and communicating relevant information to stakeholders in a timely and clear manner to secure alignment and support.
Acting as a coach and trusted advisor to other Project Managers and Associate Project Managers.
Qualifications for the Role:
Comprehensive knowledge of the Finance Operations is required due to ongoing transformation initiatives and complex stakeholder management.
Minimum 3 years of project management experience with Finance Operations as a key stakeholder, with total professional experience of 8-10 years.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in MS Office, and solid presentation skills are required professional certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is preferred.
Degree in MCom, MBA (Finance), or BCom, with appropriate documentation.
Fluency in spoken and written English, along with excellent communication skills.
