About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented PMO Analyst / Project Administrator to support technology and business initiatives within a leading banking environment.
This role is ideal for professionals with 3-5 years of PMO, project coordination, business support, or project administration experience, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, system analysts, and senior management to coordinate change requests, manage project governance, support budgeting activities, prepare management reports, and ensure smooth day-to-day project operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project administration and PMO activities across technology initiatives
- Manage and track Change Requests (CRs) from initiation through governance approval
- Liaise with business users to gather and document business requirements
- Coordinate with System Analysts and technical teams for effort estimation
- Review cost estimates and support business prioritisation discussions
- Prepare governance papers, presentations and approval documents
- Monitor project budgets, resource utilisation and project financials
- Produce project status reports, dashboards and value realisation reports
- Maintain project documentation and ensure governance compliance
- Support onboarding and offboarding of project resources
- Coordinate meetings, workshops and project governance sessions
- Prepare meeting minutes, action trackers and follow-up items
- Arrange project training and departmental administrative activities
- Support project planning, scheduling and progress tracking
- Maintain project artefacts using SharePoint, JIRA and Microsoft Office tools
- Perform data analysis and reporting to support project decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance or related discipline
- 3-5 years of relevant PMO, Project Administration or Project Coordination experience
- Experience within Banking or Financial Services is preferred
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience supporting project governance and change management activities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills
- Able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent tracking and documentation skills
