Project Management Intern

Remote | 4 hrs/day x 5 days a week | Flexible | 3 Months | Unpaid

Internship Overview

This internship is designed for students or recent graduates from BBA, MBA, or other business and management-related programs who are passionate about the world of project management. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience by supporting a variety of projects, from inception to completion. You'll work closely with our team on strategic tasks that contribute directly to the successful execution of our initiatives, helping to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Location: Remote

Duration: 3 months

Schedule: 4 hours/day (flexible) x 5 days a week

Certification: Issued upon successful completion

Leaves: 1 sick, 1 casual, and 1 mental health leave per month

Key Responsibilities

This internship will give you a chance to apply your project management skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will be instrumental in coordinating projects across our diverse service offerings, from initial concept to final delivery.

Cross-Functional Team Coordination

  • Act as the central point of contact and coordinator for our internal teams, including Marketing & Creative, Technology & Development, Business Development, and Analytics.
  • Foster effective collaboration and information flow between these diverse teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Project Planning & Oversight

  • Help define clear project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring they align with Social Nanban's strategic business goals.
  • Assist in developing and managing project schedules, timelines, and task assignments using appropriate project management tools.
  • Proactively identify potential interdependencies between different team's tasks and help manage them to prevent delays.

Communication & Facilitation

  • Facilitate regular team meetings (e.g., stand-ups, planning sessions, reviews), ensuring clear agendas, active participation, and actionable outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain clear communication channels to keep all team members informed and engaged.
  • Act as a go-to person for project-related inquiries, offering guidance and escalating complex issues to leadership when necessary.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and suggest practical solutions to keep initiatives on track.
  • Develop and maintain simple progress reports and dashboards to provide clear visibility to leadership.
  • Ensure that tasks are completed on time and to the required quality standards.

Process Improvement

  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and improve overall project delivery.
  • Assist in documenting processes and best practices for future reference and continuity within the company.

  • Communicates with Clarity: You should be able to convey ideas and information clearly and concisely, whether in a report, a presentation, or a team meeting.

Compensation

The internship has been structured to offer hands-on experience in Project Management by working with our internal team. We do not provide a stipend. You will get a certificate of experience post the internship tenure. Please find other opportunities if you are applying primarily for a stipend or monetary benefits.
