About the Role:

As a Project Coordinator, you will work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional engineering teams to support the planning, execution, and successful delivery of high-impact space projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to satellite systems, mission management, advanced engineering programs, and large-scale aerospace operations while building a strong foundation in project management.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support project planning, scheduling, execution, and monitoring activities across space and aerospace programs.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, procurement, and leadership teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, risk registers, and status reports.
  • Track project deliverables, monitor progress, and proactively identify schedule deviations.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams, external partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Organize project review meetings, prepare agendas, document action items, and drive follow-ups to closure.
  • Manage project documentation, technical records, and knowledge repositories to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze project metrics and generate reports that support data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating critical concerns to project leadership when necessary.
  • Support risk mitigation planning and track resolution of project challenges.
  • Coordinate logistics for project-related travel, workshops, customer visits, and technical reviews.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to track purchase requests, vendor deliverables, and resource availability.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Project Management Office (PMO).

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • MBA in Operations, Project Management, or Business Administration is an added advantage.
  • 0–4 years of experience in Project Coordination, Project Management Support, PMO Operations, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools such as:
  • Microsoft Project
  • Jira
  • Confluence
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary engineering and business teams.
  • Interest in Space Technology, Satellite Systems, Aerospace Engineering, Mission Operations, or Advanced Manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

  • Exposure to aerospace, defense, satellite, space technology, manufacturing, or engineering-driven organizations.
  • Familiarity with satellite systems, mission management, spacecraft development, or related technologies.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Certification in Project Management (CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Fundamentals, Scrum Fundamentals) is a plus.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional technical teams and large-scale engineering projects.
