JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Project Management Consultant (PMC Lead)

with 10+ years of expertise in overseeing design, planning, and execution for large-scale institutional

and campus developments. Operating as the direct consultant and trusted representative for the client/

owner, you will manage design integration, pre-construction planning, procurement management,

contractor monitoring, design audit, and project oversight across multi-building campuses (academic

blocks, research facilities, auditoriums, student housing, and master utilities).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Owner's Representation & Client Advisory: Serve as the primary strategic advisor to the

institutional leadership/board, safeguarding client interest across design quality, timeline

compliance, and budget.

Design Management & Peer Review: Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP consultants

during concept, schematic, and detailed design phases. Review drawings and BIM models for

constructability, code compliance, and value engineering.

Pre-Construction & Procurement Strategy: Establish project execution strategies, formulate

contract conditions, prepare tender documentation, lead vendor pre-qualifications, and evaluate

contractor bid submissions.

Site & Quality Governance (PMC Oversight): Monitor on-site contractor operations against

baseline schedules (Primavera P6/MSP) and quality plans (PQP). Perform design-intent audits and

verify contractor progress billings.

Change & Claims Advisory: Independently review variation requests, claims, extension of time

(EOT) applications, and financial disputes submitted by contractors; provide unbiased

recommendations to the client.

Risk, Safety & Statutory Compliance: Conduct periodic project health-check audits, identify

design/execution risks early, and ensure all statutory permits, environmental clearances, and safety

standards are fulfilled.

Commissioning & Handover Management: Oversee testing, balancing, system commissioning,

as-built documentation verification, and smooth operational handover to the institutional facilities

management team.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Civil Engineering or Architecture. Master's degree

in Construction Management or MBA, and PMP / PRINCE2 certification are preferred.

Experience: Minimum **10 years** of total experience in construction management and project

consultancy, with a primary focus on leading design review, pre-construction, and PMC delivery for

**Institutional or Educational Campus Projects**.

Technical & Software Proficiency: Strong expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project, BIM/Revit

review tools, AutoCAD, and Project Management Information Systems (PMIS).

Consultancy Competency: Strong mastery over FIDIC/standard consultancy contracts, design

review, constructability audits, value engineering, and high-level stakeholder management.

Soft Skills: Executive presentation skills, strong negotiation, decision-making, and high-level client

relationship management.
