Summary We are seeking an experienced Content & Channel Maintenance professional to manage and optimize day-to-day procurement content and channel operations across catalogs, contracts, guided buying, and supplier enablement. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate, compliant, user-friendly, and scalable procurement channels post go-live. The successful candidate will provide structured business-as-usual (BAU) ownership across the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) ecosystem, supporting adoption, strengthening data governance, improving buying experiences, and ensuring transformation outcomes are embedded into sustainable operational processes.
Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of procurement content and channels, including creation and maintenance of catalogs, contract operationalization, supplier enablement, and guided buying structures.
Ensure procurement content remains accurate, compliant, current, user-friendly, and aligned with business purchasing requirements.
Establish and maintain controls that support efficient transaction processing, reduce manual workarounds, and enhance the end-user buying experience.
Drive supplier onboarding and enablement through the Supplier Business Network (SBN), ensuring suppliers are prepared to transact through designated procurement channels.
Coordinate with suppliers, category teams, procurement operations, SAP, and Technology & Operations teams to support production enablement activities.
Resolve supplier onboarding and transaction enablement issues and monitor activation progress, data quality, catalog readiness, and operational blockers.
Provide suppliers with guidance on content requirements, process expectations, and ongoing maintenance activities.
Lead the transition of content and channel management activities from project delivery into a sustainable BAU operating model.
Develop, document, and maintain operating procedures (SOPs), governance frameworks, RACI models, escalation paths, and operational controls.
Identify ownership gaps, process inefficiencies, and transition risks, and implement scalable improvements.
Monitor procurement channel performance, including catalog utilization, contract compliance, guided buying adoption, content accuracy, and off-channel spending.
Partner with adoption, category management, procurement operations, and data teams to identify opportunities for channel optimization and improved user experience.
Utilize reporting insights, stakeholder feedback, and issue trend analysis to prioritize content enhancements and process improvements.
Support initiatives that drive compliant purchasing behavior, reduce procurement leakage, and improve operational efficiency.
Manage procurement content within SAP Ariba, Guided Buying, and related master data systems.
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of vendor, commodity, pricing, contract, catalog, and master data across Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Procure-to-Pay systems.
Collaborate with SAP, Technology & Operations, and data teams to address system issues, integration challenges, data discrepancies, and content defects.
Support testing, validation, and release readiness activities for procurement content and channel updates.
Serve as a key point of contact for category teams, procurement operations, suppliers, business users, and technology stakeholders regarding procurement content and channels.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues, clarify ownership, and improve procurement channel effectiveness.
Communicate operational insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at various levels within the organization.
Education Requirements
Bachelor&rsquos degree or equivalent professional experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
Experience Requirements
7-12 years of experience in procurement operations, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), supplier enablement, content management, procurement transformation, or related discipline.
Experience supporting post-go-live operations, BAU transition models, operational stabilization, and governance frameworks.
Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba, Guided Buying, SAP Business Network, or similar enterprise procurement platforms.
Experience in category management, strategic sourcing, supplier onboarding, contract operationalization, and channel buying.
Experience driving process improvements and procurement transformation initiatives.
Familiarity with compliance, audit, risk, and control requirements within procurement or supply chain operations.
Required Skills

Strong functional understanding of end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes, including category management, sourcing, supplier relationship management (SRM), contract lifecycle management (CLM), content enablement, and invoicing.
