Role Overview The SOH Migration Lead is a critical leadership role responsible for directing planning and executing the end-to-end migration strategy for SOH data This role sits at the intersection of business operations IT and Finance ensuring that all data migration activities are conducted with absolute precision minimal business disruption and strict adherence to internal and external financial controls The successful candidate will lead cross-functional technical and business teams act as the primary point of liaison with the Finance and Audit divisions to secure compliance sign-offs and serve as the ultimate escalation point for all SOH migration-related issues Key Responsibilities 1 Migration Oversight Strategy Execution Strategic Planning: Define own and execute the overall SOH data migration strategy including scope definition risk mitigation and go-live cutover plans Lifecycle Management: Oversee all technical and business readiness activities across various migration phases including data extraction cleansing mapping transformation mock loads dress rehearsals and final production cutovers Execution Quality Assurance: Track progress against key milestones validate target system readiness and ensure that data completeness and quality standards are met prior to launch Methodology Alignment: Utilize standardized migration tools or equivalent database conversion tools to ensure a structured approach 2 Finance Liaison Audit Review Exception Management Financial Review Audits: Collaborate closely with the Finance teams to align migration activities Audit Documentation Sign-off: Prepare review and maintain comprehensive audit trail documentation ensuring all historical records balances and system logs are verifiable and compliant with internalexternal audit standards eg SOX Reconciliation and Valuation: Lead validation processes comparing legacy system against the new system to confirm zero-balance compliance and accuracy in asset valuation Exception Handling: Identify log and resolve data anomalies missing records reconciliation variances or valuation mismatches during mock loads and cutovers Establish formal approval workflows for exceptions that require business sign-off 3 Stakeholder Management Point of Escalation Primary Point of Escalation: Act as the ultimate authority and resolution owner for all blockers technical bugs mapping discrepancies and timeline risks associated with SOH migration activities Collaboration Cross-functional Liaison: Align technical groups Basis database administrators integration leads with business data owners and functional analysts Status Reporting: Deliver structured weeklymonthly progress reports risk assessments and executive summaries to the Steering Committee Client Sponsors and Business Leadership
