Position Overview
This role owns end-to-end test automation delivery across medical devices domain projects, ensuring every release meets global healthcare regulatory standards. The Project Lead will bridge technical execution and stakeholder alignment — mentoring engineers, reviewing test artifacts, and driving adoption of best practices across the team. The position demands both hands-on technical depth and the leadership maturity to manage cross-functional dependencies at pace.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all test automation activities across medical devices domain projects, from planning through delivery.
- Review and approve test scripts prior to submission for acceptance by the Product Owner or SME.
- Interpret and apply global healthcare regulations (e.g., IEC 62304, ISO 13485) to testing practices and documentation.
- Mentor and coach engineers in automation testing methodologies, test design, and script optimization.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal engineering teams and external stakeholders, driving alignment between technical and business requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging test automation tools and trends for potential adoption within the platform.
- Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum delivery practices and maintain high-quality technical documentation standards.
Must Have Criteria
- 8+ years in software testing, with at least 3 years in test automation and project/team leadership.
- Hands-on experience with UiPath for robotic process automation and automated test workflows.
- Demonstrated experience in test design, script review, and technical documentation.
- Experience in non-functional testing (performance, load, or reliability testing).
- Experience interpreting and applying global healthcare regulations in testing scenarios.
- Proven track record of leading, coaching, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies in a software delivery context.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with desktop-based automation on Windows platforms using FlaUI, WinAppDriver, TestComplete, or White Framework.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, IEC 62304, or similar medical device software compliance standards.
- Prior experience working in an ISV or product-engineering environment.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-integrated testing practices.
