Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Lead – Structural Precast Detailing with 8+ years of experience in precast concrete detailing and project execution. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Allplan and Revit, excellent communication skills, and proven experience in managing projects, coordinating with clients, and leading detailing teams to deliver high-quality precast construction drawings and models.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee structural precast detailing projects from project kickoff through final delivery, ensuring quality, schedule, and client requirements are met.
- Develop, review, and manage detailed precast concrete 3D models, shop drawings, erection drawings, and fabrication drawings using Allplan or Revit.
- Create and maintain project models and detailing deliverables in compliance with project specifications, factory production standards, and applicable structural design codes.
- Interpret structural engineering drawings, calculations, and design intent to deliver accurate, efficient, and constructible precast detailing solutions.
- Ensure all detailing outputs, including reinforcement, fabrication, and erection drawings, comply with relevant codes, client requirements, and manufacturing constraints.
- Collaborate closely with production, planning, and erection teams to optimize designs for manufacturability, transportation, and site installation.
- Implement and uphold company detailing standards, quality procedures, and industry best practices across all assigned projects.
- Coordinate effectively with clients, structural engineers, architects, consultants, and other project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications, technical discussions, progress updates, and issue resolution.
- Manage project schedules, resource allocation, priorities, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- Conduct quality reviews of models and drawings to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project standards.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to detailing engineers and modelers to enhance team performance and capability.
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve design, detailing, coordination, and production-related challenges.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, client specifications, contractual requirements, and industry regulations.
- Participate in project planning, coordination meetings, and technical reviews while providing support throughout project execution.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in structural precast detailing.
- Strong proficiency in Allplan and Revit.
- Sound understanding of precast concrete systems, structural drawings, and construction methodologies.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead teams and manage project deliverables independently.
- Experience with international precast projects .
- Familiarity with project management tools and quality control procedures.
