>>About the Digital Government Advisory Team
KPMG India's Digital Government Advisory (DGA) practice helps government bodies modernize public services through technology. It offers strategic consulting, digital architecture, and sector-specific solutions across areas like transport, water, justice, and finance. The team enables large-scale e-Governance, data analytics, and automation to improve efficiency and citizen experience.
>>About the Role:
The Professional/Expert will provide expert support in Finance & Accounts for departmental, organizational, or institutional projects. The role involves endtoend consultancy across planning, operations, project documentation, evaluation, and policy formulation, particularly in the context of eGovernance and public finance initiatives.
>>Key Responsibilities:
>>Required Qualifications & Experience:
Must have:
Strong knowledge of public policy writing.
Relevant academic background in finance, accounts, or related fields.
>>Preferred Skills:
Understanding of public sector procurement norms and financial processes.
Exposure to government functioning, project documentation, and compliance.
>>Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
Excellent documentation and report-writing skills
Ability to manage stakeholders and facilitate discussions
Knowledge of financial systems, auditing, and accounting standards
Ability to work in dynamic, multistakeholder government project environments
Strong communication and presentation skills
Detailoriented with the ability to meet deadlines
