Job Description

Key Accountability

  • To handle team of Engineers effectively to get the desired output.
  • To review and apply the planning so as to meet the scheduled commissioning.
  • Generating regular MIS as per management requirements.
  • Ensure to follow all the required statutory requirements to avoid any penalty.
  • To ensure implementation of Quality as per approved FQP and relevant IS Codes/CBIP manual etc.
  • To ensure implementation of Safety as per organisation guidelines.
  • Handling of vendor to avoid any additional cost on Owner. Conducting regular Project review meeting with counterpart and identifying the critical paths for necessary resolutions.
  • Keeping track of budget so as to keep cost within the budget.
  • To identify the bottlenecks and their resolutions so as to avoid last minute surprises.
  • To plan timely shutdowns and crossings and follow ups for timely execution.
  • Processing of vendor bills timely.
  • Conducting safety and quality programmes at site level for development of their team at regular intervals.
  • Training need identification of the team.

Qualification and Experience

Minimum 12-15 years of experience in Transmission Line execution

B.E./ B.Tech. Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical

Experiences:

  • Team management, engagement & motivation
  • ROW solving, Farmers, landowners.
  • Interaction with Government Authorities.
  • Should have knowledge of IS5613, CBIP Manual
