Job Description

Position Title: Project Head

Department: Projects

Location: Hyderabad

Position Purpose

As a Project Head, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across large-scale civil and interior construction projects. You will oversee end-to-end project delivery including planning, execution, cost control, quality, safety, and timelines, while ensuring alignment with organizational and client objectives.

At LAMBSROCK, this role plays a key part in driving project excellence, strengthening client confidence, and leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. Your leadership will contribute to building long-term client relationships and reinforcing LAMBSROCK's reputation as a trusted construction and project management partner.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

Develop and implement detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, and execution strategies.

Coordinate internal teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project delivery.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within approved budgets, and to required quality standards.

Cost & Commercial Management

Oversee project cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial control.

Monitor expenditures and approve variations, change orders, and contractor claims.

Identify value engineering and cost-optimization opportunities without compromising quality.

Team Leadership & Management

Lead, guide, and mentor project teams including engineers, planners, quantity surveyors, and support staff.

Assign responsibilities, track performance, and ensure accountability across teams.

Promote a collaborative, performance-driven, and safety-focused work culture.

Client & Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary interface with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.

Provide regular project updates, reports, and risk assessments.

Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and support repeat business opportunities.

Contract & Vendor Management

Manage contracts with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Ensure compliance with contractual terms, scope, timelines, and commercial conditions.

Support negotiations, resolve disputes, and mitigate contractual risks.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and statutory requirements.

Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures across all project phases.

Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards, promoting a zero-incident culture on site.

Schedule & Risk Management

Monitor project schedules and proactively address delays or coordination challenges.

Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on delivery.

Documentation & Reporting

Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of project documentation, reports, and records.

Prepare progress reports, cost reports, and presentations for management and clients.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

Minimum 15+ years of experience in large-scale construction projects, with strong exposure to civil and interior works with mandatory Hotel projects.

Proven technical and commercial expertise in construction execution and project controls.

Strong knowledge of building codes, statutory regulations, and industry best practices.
