Position Summary

The Project Head will serve as the senior-most site-based leader responsible for end-to-end execution and management of the Kali Gandaki Gorge Hydropower Project.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and oversee all on-site construction and project execution activities

· Ensure project completion within approved timelines, quality standards, and budgets

· Manage contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders effectively

· Drive project planning, scheduling, execution monitoring, and reporting activities

· Ensure strict adherence to engineering standards, safety requirements, and regulatory compliance

· Coordinate with head office teams regarding project progress, challenges, and resource requirements

· Build and lead high-performing project teams across engineering, construction, and operations functions

· Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively

· Monitor productivity, construction quality, and site performance continuously

· Conduct regular project review meetings and ensure timely resolution of operational issues

Required Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline (Master's degree preferred)

· Minimum 15–20 years of experience in large-scale hydropower or infrastructure project execution

· Proven experience leading construction activities for major hydropower projects

· Strong understanding of project execution, contract management, and construction methodologies

· Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams and multiple contractors

· Strong technical understanding of hydropower construction and project delivery systems
