Role Overview:
The role is responsible for end-to-end financial management of healthcare infrastructure and development projects at MAX Healthcare, ensuring strong budget control, financial governance, statutory compliance, and commercial discipline across the project lifecycle. The incumbent will partner closely with Projects, Contracts, Procurement, Taxation, and Leadership teams to ensure projects are delivered within approved financial parameters.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Project Financial Planning & Budget Control:
- Own project budgets from approval to closure, ensuring strict adherence to sanctioned costs
- Track project-wise spend, commitments, and cash flows
- Monitor budget sustainability and flag risks, overruns, or deviations proactively
- Drive cost control mechanisms across all project phases
2. Capital Expenditure (Capex) Management
- Manage and track Capex across multiple projects
- Ensure correct allocation of Capex to respective projects and cost centers
- Validate Capex justification, approvals, and capitalization timelines
3. Contractual & Commercial Finance Oversight
- Review financial implications of contracts, BOQs, amendments, and change orders
- Ensure billing is strictly aligned to contractual terms and milestones
- Address and resolve financial deviations, claims, and disputes arising from contracts
4. Project Accounting & MIS
- Drive monthly MIS, variance analysis (Budget vs Actual vs Forecast)
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closures for project-related accounts
- Present financial insights and risk dashboards to leadership
5. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Handle project-related taxation matters including GST, TDS, and other statutory levies
- Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
6. Financial Governance & Risk Management
- Establish strong financial controls and governance frameworks for projects
- Identify financial risks early and recommend mitigation strategies

Experience & Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory
- Strong exposure to Real Estate / Infrastructure / Developer-led projects
