Job Summary

The Animal Husbandry Executive will be responsible for supporting large-scale cattle survey and field-based animal husbandry activities across Rajasthan. The role focuses on field data collection, animal identification, coordination with veterinary services, and maintaining accurate survey records while ensuring adherence to animal welfare and government guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Support cattle survey operations across Rajasthan, including field-level data collection

Coordinate with veterinary doctors for vaccination and treatment activities

Perform animal tagging (ear tagging / identification tagging) and maintain identification records

Maintain accurate documentation of animal data, survey formats, and field registers

Ensure animal welfare, safety, and hygiene standards are followed during fieldwork

Support compliance with government guidelines and organizational protocols

Travel to different districts of Rajasthan as required for survey and monitoring activities

Required Skills & Competencies

Basic knowledge of animal husbandry and livestock management practices

Hands-on understanding of animal identification and tagging methods

Ability to safely handle cattle during surveys and field activities

Record-keeping and field documentation skills

Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, data entry)

Good communication and coordination skills

Observation, reporting, and problem-solving abilities

Willingness to travel extensively within Rajasthan

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Animal Husbandry / Veterinary Science / related field
