Job description
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in driving the integration deliverables and implementing solutions using Boomi and APIGEE integration platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, technical leads and developers, to create efficient, scalable, and robust integrations that connect various applications and systems within the organization.
About The Role:
- Overall, lead the technical deliverables by closely liaising with project stakeholders, scrum masters, integration development teams and operations. Be a focal point of contact for project stakeholders and technical team.
- Ability to understand the project requirements, high-level architecture, apply prioritization techniques, work with architects and tech leads to carve out the high-level effort estimate, expertise in T-shirt sizing and capacity planning. Draw efficiency and reusability, thereby improving team velocity and escalation management.
- Implement agile ways of working, drive continuous improvement and ability to align the developers, testing, other project stakeholders with evolving operating model and project needs.
- Experienced in managing application integration projects and deliverables (based on technologies like APIGEE, Boomi, MuleSoft, Oracle SOA Suite etc), refining processes, aligning technical execution and impact analysis for project requirements.
- Experienced in implementing scrum team from scratch, educate technical teams to refine their understanding of Agile framework and practices. Ability to drive scrum ceremonies to ensure focused discussions, sprint goals are achieved, resolve dependencies and risks.
- Excellent ability to communicate across the stakeholders, cross-functional and development teams. Understands release and change management process. Send regular updates and communications to project teams and management.
- Define metrics and KPIs. Measure and agile maturity. Showcase team capabilities, accomplishments and value realization. Drive governance model at platform level.
- Fair understanding on Integration patterns and data exchange formats (e.g., REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
About You:
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Overall, 7-9 years of industry experience with at least 5 years of project management and/ or Scum Master experience.
- Fair understanding of application integration platforms and business processes like Order fulfilment, billing, entitlement etc.
- Strong-minded, collaborative individual who is capable of developing a vision and roadmap to deliver it.
- Certified in Scrum Master and/ or Project Management.
- Experience working on Agile Methodologies, Project Management Tools, Microsoft Suites, Power BI, Postman, AWS, DataDog,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (ability to communicate effectively with technical staff, business analysts, management).
