- Design of Core, Winding, Winding assembly and Active part (Core and Winding) for HVDC Converter transformer and HVAC Power Transformers and Shunt Reactor.
- Ensure implementing engineering process to create complex project order designs and documents, keeping project cost in mind while fully aligning with customer specifications.
- Performing detailed analysis of the electric field in the winding assembly and active part by using FEM tools.
- Actively Lead Design review meetings before finalizing detailed engineering solutions.
- Knowledge of 2D/3D FEM applied to electrostatic/electromagnetic simulation is preferred.
- Prepare documentation for mechanical design department and manufacturing applications.
- Align with manufacturing plan to deliver design specifications, Preparation of fill of materials and create requirements in ERP (SAP).
- Prepare/check manufacturing documents for Core-winding-active part 3D models, 2D drawings and Bill of material in ERP.
- Participating in technical meetings within the team.
- Using latest technology and tools, optimize and adopt innovative design solutions employing best practices.
- Plan and monitor assigned projects consistently achieving related KPIs.
- Support services for Erection, Commissioning and site related technical matters.
- Working together with the other design groups and with Global R&D to evaluate new component.
- Cooperate with the company other functions (Production, Procurement, Quality etc.)
- Possess knowledge of Indian and International Standards & Codes – IEC, IEEE, BIS,, ISO for design related aspects of power transformers and shunt reactors.
- Follow engineering process to create order designs and documents, keeping project cost in mind while fully aligning with customer specifications.
- Proactively identify risks and mitigate in solution concept stage in consultation with Manager.
