We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Project Engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience in planning, executing, and supervising projects related to CCTV, Fire Alarm, and Access Control Systems. The ideal candidate will oversee project implementation from start to finish, coordinate teams, ensure timely completion, and maintain quality standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
- Plan, schedule, and manage installation projects for CCTV, Fire Alarm, and Access Control systems.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare project timelines, resource plans, and material requirements.
Installation Supervision
- Oversee installation and commissioning activities performed by technical/service teams.
- Ensure installations follow industry standards, system designs, and client specifications.
- Verify quality of work at each stage of the project.
System Design & Integration
- Assist with system layouts, device placement, wiring diagrams, and integration plans.
- Integrate security systems with BMS, fire panels, and monitoring platforms.
Client Communication & Coordination
- Act as the primary contact for clients during project execution.
- Communicate project progress, technical details, and timelines.
- Maintain client satisfaction by managing expectations appropriately.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare project reports, as-built drawings, handover documents, and material usage reports.
- Maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure all installations comply with safety protocols, electrical standards, and company guidelines.
- Conduct final inspections and ensure systems are fully operational before handover.
Team Leadership
- Guide and support technicians and service engineers during project execution.
- Provide technical support to ensure proper implementation of project plans.
Project Issue Resolution
- Identify project challenges and implement quick, effective solutions.
- Address site issues, material shortages, or technical problems to prevent delays.
Skills and Qualifications
(Any Degree or Diploma)
Experience
- 2 to 3 years in project execution for CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, or low-voltage systems.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of IP CCTV, NVR/DVR, fire alarm systems, detectors, access control devices, and integrations.
- Ability to read technical drawings, BOQs, wiring diagrams, and project layouts.
Project Management Skills
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Understanding of project timelines, resources, and risk management.
Problem-Solving
- Strong analytical skills to resolve site-level issues quickly.
Electrical & Networking Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, circuits, LAN, and IP configuration.
Communication Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication for client interaction and reporting.
Driver's License (Preferred)
- A valid driving license is an added advantage for site visits and client coordination.
